Sex and the City
I watched the tv show.
Loved the movie.
Yes i was like 13.
Yes i still closed my eyes at the sex scenes.
Ok, i loved Sex and the City, still do, and there was just something, i don't know over whelming at seeing it on the big screen. I loved the show, and since its finish have been looking for something classy yet funny and full of drama as it, or as my brother calls it a "trashy whore ridden show". well he is an ass so there.
For the first while, Desperate Housewives filled that gap, but could nowhere near live up to the standards of SATC, i dropped it after season one, getting bored of the storylines and Characters. Which resulted in no shows like it for a while, i picked up new shows which i still watch but none in the same genre as SATC.
Lipstick jungle came about, wasn't interested, and Gossip Girl and so many others more recently, but none took my interest.
However, during the writer strikes, the American tv channels had to come up with a quick source of entertainment. Enter in Cashmere Mafia. 7 episodes, 13 were made only 7 produced, as ABC had concerns about its future programming and promotions. They also decided not to renew it for a 2nd season.
Bullshit. I loved this show, the cast was excellent, i could really feel for the characters and it was funny and agh it was just excellent. I suggest watching it if you liked Sex and the City, as all the other shows tried to be like SATC, but CM didn't they had their own ideas and it does have similarities but it is different.
On the other hand, it is probably for the best it wasn't continued, as it may have turned out like Desperate Housewives, excellent first season and all downhill from there. No show in that genre can hold a torch to SATC, it ran for 6 seasons, 94 episodes and one feature length movie. The cast was excellent, the storylines were good and it was always fun to watch.
I think now is finally a good way to end Sex and the City.
Back to my CSI and Without a Trace and Ghost Whisperer and Heroes god knows what else i watch.

Building Site
I hate messy things.
Its true, i can't stand it, when the house is untidy, i get irritated more quickly, so i now understand how mom feels. It is driving me insane, our house right now is a building site, well it may as well be, 3 weeks ago, dad decided it would be a GREAT idea to get started on re-doing up the house, now bearing in mind i was studying for exams at the time, and he ripped out the bathroom, the kitchen, and built an en-suit in his bedroom. Now as you can imagine, the house is a mess with just one room being done up, but 3? it is unreal. The dust, the sheets everywhere, the plaster eugh. We have one sink in the house, and it is quite possibly the smallest sink in the house.
Not only is the house a mess, we have no food and everything that belongs in those 3 rooms is in every other room in the house, so you cant escape it, BUT we have a Tiler and plumbers constantly in and out of the house, so that throws any kind of plans of showers etc out the window. (We do have a shower, but there is a foot drop out of it)
What makes matters worse is the water is constantly going on and off so my coffee fix has gone with it, and the electricity and internet keep tripping, so i am typing as many blogs as i can as fast as i can.
My room has also been long overdue of a make over. Yesterday i thought it would be a great idea to start to clean it, i pulled EVERYTHING out of every cupboard in my room, (I have them everywhere, i have 9 in my room, and they're double ones) and put it all on the bed, i could only do 2 at at a time with the amount of shit i have, i have 4 done so far, and by done i mean, i pulled all the stuff out and i have put it into piles, i have to sort out where i am going to put the shit i am keeping.
well that is all i have for now as i have to close down my computer to install some sort of update ¬_¬

Des Bishop and Stitches.
It has been a hell of a week, to say the least, i meant to write last week but due to things i could not control i couldn't. *Coughs* Laptopcrappedoutonme*Coughs*
Last week, i saw Des Bishop on Thursday evening at the Iontas in Castleblaney. It was amazing to say the least it was so funny. I drove myself, and 4 friends to Blaney and as i was about to pull up to park, who did we see but Des?? Jules beeped the horn and he waved at us, best 10seconds ever!
When we got inside there was an art exhibition on, we got free food hurrah. We finally got into the theater at about 8.15. Des had no warm up act so we had him from 8.30 until about 11. well there was a break and his friend did a 15 minute set, which was also very funny.
Anyway, afterwards, we were waiting outside to see if we could catch him when he came out, and get his autograph etc, anyways we saw him through a window and we were like we have to get in there, we waited around for a little while longer when someone came out the side door, as stealthily as 8 17 year old crazed Des fans we were ran in through the door and up the corridor to his dressing room, we met him had pictures got autographs, talked to him "As Gaelige" and told him we will most definitely be coming back to see him in September.
That was the highlight of me week, Friday i had the best day of work ever, it was so much fun... and then it all started to go downhill, Saturday i spent all day studying, Sunday was awful everything that could go wrong went wrong and it just sucked, i fell out of the shower and hurt my ankle and the nail on my baby toe came off >_< so that hurt.
oh and Dad is fixing up the house so it looks like a bomb has gone off, hopefully it will be finished soon.
Monday i had the day off school as i had to go up to Dublin to the hospital. In all honesty i wasn't at all worried, more like i wanted to get there so i could get home and study. After spending an hour in the waiting room and signing forms i finally went in, i looked away while they were doing the operation, i heard scalpel and nearly fainted. I got 4 stitches, 2 inside and 2 outside, so really 2, and then was sent on my way. Mom and i then went to the Pavilions in Swords and got stuff for holidays. hurrah.
i got home and the pain started to kick in, stitches suck!!! and then today Tuesday i went into school, general assembly and then study classes, i started pulling at my plasters on my arm and i went pale and nearly was sick when i saw it was bleeding a bit. I called mom and i decided to come home, and since i have reapplied a new bandage and i have got changed next to studying as i have maths and biology exams tomorrow.

a month in VERY short review
It has been nearly a month since i last wrote to this, i kept meaning to do it, but eventually it got put off to a later date like most things atm. The last month has been hectic to say the least. But for now i won't divulge.
This month i don't doubt will be worse, but at the same time should be more full, i am going to see the comedian Des Bishop, that i can't wait for, i have exams coming up, boo, im not nearly as ready for them as i would like to be. And i finish 5th year, that is what i am most apprehensive about, i like 5th year, im too young to be a responsible 6th year:( well really im ready this year, age wise, but other wise, no im not.
Aside from all that i can see may shaping up to be quite a good month. Oh it was bank holiday weekend this weekend, so my 12 friends and i, thought it would be excellent if we all want out, yeah we got kicked out, erm twice in this one place, not because we were rowdy but because a couple didn't have id, oh well. So i drove Jules and Laura home, then i went home and watched Ghost Whisperer Season 2 with mom and dad, i have to say, again, i love that show, i feel a marathon coming on, along with 60 other things i have to watch hahaha.
Monday we had the day off, it was sooo hot, so i broke out the shorts, and washed my car, it was great, legs are still white, im like transparent, but who cares. Adam and Shell came over for moms birthday and they had gotten her Wii Fit, i LOVE it, its great, i might try to do it everyday.
Tuesday i got up early got homework done, played wii fit, had a shower tidied my room and drove into town to pick Sean up. We got mom a birthday present, and i left my friend Donal home as he missed his bus, and was late for evening study so they wouldn't let him in. After that i got home, donned the shorts and hung around outside studying, which is difficult when the dogs are all over you.
Yesterday evening i didn't do much except study, i finally got online as im not allowed it really till after my finals, but i might try to sneak on every now and then.
So i apologize to the people i can't talk to online because of the stupid exams, i shall try my hardest to get on:) oh and i heart Denise for those songs, i am addicted >_<
anywho i will try to update more often.
oh and its moms b-day today so happy birthday to my mother :) x
