Ahhh its nearly the New Year, and I figured, like last year I would do the Highs and Lows of the year.
2008 has brought with it both good and bad points. All in All it was an alright year, and its going to take one hell of a year to top it.
Lets start with the lows so that we can be happy at the end ^_^
Lows:
January:
Well as many of you may know, thats when my hearing started to turn shit and I was refusing to go to the doctors.
Also the time of the great bad hair scandal:P
February:
(January/February)Denise was admitted to hospital, that was a really scary time:( <3 So glad you're better now though D.
I got a nasty ear infection and seriously infected mastoid gland, that sucked.
Very many dental appointments as I had to have my front tooth cemented into place as they fucked me over on dental work a few years ago >_<
And I missed Tegan and Sara in Dublin cause of my ear:(
May:
I had to get stitches in my arm after that whole scare >_< That sucked, and trying to write for exams was awful.
Getting annoyed with builders for not turning up to do the bathroom.
June:
Broke one of the wing mirrors on my car because of an asshole lorry driver not moving over>_<
Broke my sunglasses :( Rip sunglasses.
Saturday 12th of July 2008, Brian McGonnell died after a nasty battle with cancer. Shelly is like a member of our family and it was awful to see the family go through it <3
My dad chipped a bone in his wrist and lost a chunk of his finger.
and some areshole vandalized my car by breaking both the wing mirrors off>_< Fuckers.
October:
I dislocated my jaw >_<
Really shitty Halloween as everyone canceled on me.
November:
My hate for the Leaving Cert English Course bubbled over.
People canceled on me again ¬_¬
Got messed around by an arse who I'm truly glad to be rid of.
December:
I crashed the car. That was possibly one of the scariest moments of my life. I was going really slow, and I caught the corner wrong and was sent into a skid. I don't think I've ever been so scared.
The fridge pump broke and flooded the kitchen.
My Big Nan got really sick.
My Nan got really sick and still is, I'm really worried :( Shes lost alot of weight and was describing symptoms of a heart attack, I really hope shes getting better.
I got lost in Dundalk for 3 hours and got so annoyed I was nearly crying.
I was completely uninspired for ages. And not motivated in the slightest.
I have a cold.
On top of that we have various amounts of Dental appointments, sickness, bad luck, clumsiness, falling down stairs, bruises, cuts, and god knows what else.
Ok now we're past the depressing stuff time to get to the Happy things:).
Highs:
January:
New start. New Year.
Shellys 21st. Was an amazing night. I bought my first ever dress and it was brilliant fun:)
I bought books. Lots of books.
February:
Ahh the ash Wednesday mass, is that the one where I kept whispering Penis to Shaunna? I can't remember.
Arts Day at school which I ran an organized independently was a complete success :)
March:
Got my hands on Ghost Whisperer Season 1. AMAZING. WATCH IT!
Went to Venice, Villach, Salzburgh and Munich. It was amazing. One of the best holidays I've ever been on.
April:
We Are Scientists gig. Was fucking AMAZING! Yeah are fantastic live and have the most adorable voices.
Oh and I passed my driving test :)
May:
Went to see Des Bishop play in Blaney and we met him Backstage, that was amazing.
Got our bathroom done up too and we now have a jacuzzi bath;)
Went to see Sex and the City with Jules and Niamh and Shelly and Pamela.
I got free shoes.
June:
I finally got my stitches out.
Went To Italy with my parents 2 brothers and my brothers girlfriend Shelly. That was a brilliant holiday, we had an apartment and we hung out, went swimming and everything, was amazing. I also got my Vans which I had been looking for for months.
Saw Doomsday.
Claire helped me with my artwork and let me use her awesome camera:)
July:
My birthday. The saturday was absolutely the best night ever. I got pretty drunk along with Jules, Ciara Larry, Cake and Donna. And of course Adam and Shelly. It was amazing, aghhh the drunken stories and the Jell-o shots:)
The tuesday of my actual birthday was soooo amazingly funny too. I took Jules with me and we went to my staff Shin-dig. It was brilliant. I got drunk, fell off a wall, and apparently the DJ grabbed my ass, I don't remember that at all hahaha. I also ended up getting um 30 kisses too hahaha. Good times.
Went to see the Dark Knight with Pat. That was a fantastic film. Loved it.
Went to see Clone Wars with Pat in Dublin :) (I think it was July, maybe August?)
August:
I got yet more books.
I went to England.
I went to see Muse in Marley Park. That was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. If you have to see one band live its them. For Sure.
I got My Birthday Present from Denise. Terrible Towel is brilliant.
Tim-LC came over for a few days and we hung out. It was fun. ^_^
James's Debs. Was a brilliant night and I walked down the road in the middle of the night with no shoes on..that was not brilliant.
September:
I met Noel Fielding from the Mighty Boosh ^_^
I got free Oreos. I love how I remember food related things.
Also Shaunnas 17th at Mr Ks that was a fun night.
October:
Watched some creepy Films with Denise.
November:
Met Des Bishop again:)
Went to IADT open day and I love that college.

December:
Denise's Christmas present came. BEST.PRESENT.EVER! I don't care D, It really was:P <3
I got an iPod for Christmas.
I wasn't working Christmas Eve.
I got a radio for my car.
Had one of the Best weeks of my life.
Along with all that there is of course numerous other things, I got art done, I read alot, I had some really good nights out and some hilarious conversations with Denise in the early hours of the morning.
So as 2008 draws to a close, its pretty safe to say it's been a very good year. some highs and lows, filled with laughter, sadness and who knows what else.
I have met some great people this year,Amy<3, Peter <3, Tim-LC, Donna, Danielle, Niamh, and anyone who I've forgotten.
09 will see me hopefully getting into IADT and moving to Dublin and Denise coming over in June <3 and my Debs. Who knows what else.
And with that I think I shall leave it. HAPPY NEW YEAR<3 I hope its a great one.

Today I did actually get things done :) I'm so pleased with myself ^_^
I was then going to go into town and get some art supplies as I really need a new pen as my black has run out >_<
So New Years, after talking to a few people it seems alot are staying in, so I think I might too. Adam and Shell are coming over, but I think I might get drunk with D if she's up for it:)
Anywho I got drafted into work today ¬_¬ 5:30-10. It was alright. I LOVE Sinjita, shes soooo cool she brought sweets <3. And Mark is so cute ^_^
I'm sorry I missed people earlier though, so typical of my luck >_< <3
Hopefully I will get into town sometime this week in order to get my art things:)And Oh that reminds me, I have an appointment tomorrow to go try on Debs dresses :) I know its like 8months away but Shelly saw this really nice dress and thinks it will suit me so hopefully it will:)

woo update
Today I got up at *mutters*onethirtypm*Mutters* and had coffee and sat in my pjs for ages.
I got some art done as well which I was pretty happy with. I still have alot to do, but I mean I'm getting things done.
I have planned what I'm going to draw in every panel, I just have to draw it. :)
I then decided that I needed leaves for my portfolio, so I went on a adventure. It was bloody freezing. >_<
I made Denise a video though, which I have yet to upload as youtube was being a mong. I'll do it this evening, maybe on Veoh?
However I did upload one for Amy, so, hopefully, I didn't look like a complete idiot. And ramble.
I promise both of you I'm going to make better ones ^_^
I have currently got artwork ALL over my floor too.
Oh and the genius that I am, when I was making D's video I slipped right on my ass on the ice. The poor guy walking on the other side of the road didn't know what to do. Thank god that I didn't catch it on video, or I would have never lived it down. ¬_¬
I think for this week, I need to get my phone unlocked so I can get an Orange sim to work in it. I also need to finish this story board, and I promised Alibhe we'd go out for Chinese and then go out after so she could see what I'm like drunk. That should be fun. Alibhe is hilariously funny. <3
New Years Eve, atm I'm not sure I have anything planned, I might go out with Claire to McKennas as her friend from Kildare is down, and she said I should come out. So I'll see if the offer is still good. It all depends how I feel on the day, I'm not a huge fan of New Year, well, I don't mind it, but the past few years its been quiet, so I think I will go out this year. I'm going to attempt to not get too drunk and do yoga in the middle of McKennas or run around with a saucepan on my head....... wow. Um, yeah.... ^_^

Hurrah, Dude, I found my muse.
Like i said before this side of Christmas is kind of depressing.
But since yesterday I have actually done a little art. Tomorrow I need to SERIOUSLY get one of the storyboards done.
I also want to seriously thank my muse, for not only inspiring me, but for naming the character, thank you so so so much, let me know what I can do to thank you^_^
I have done no studying so far ¬_¬ I need to get to that. And I will but 12 chapters of Chemistry and 11 of Biology does not sound appealing.
I'm considering doing some tomorrow though. I'm also considering getting an Orange sim, so that I can talk to people in England for cheaper, if I can find my old phone that was unblocked then I will:)
I had one of the best nights sleep last night, I haven't slept that well in months. I have no idea why I slept so well. hehehe.

Desperately seeking muse
The past week or so I haven't been inspired to draw or come up with ideas or anything for my portfolio.
I sit down, get an idea then realize its crap. I need to be inspired.
Today was strange though. I just started drawing, and coming up with ideas that aren't too bad.
Whatever happened its good. And I hope it sticks around, I need to get this portfolio done in like a couple of weeks :(

Came and gone :(
So Christmas has come and gone and I really do not like this side of christmas. Its depressing and it has finally hit me how much shit I have to do. Its really frightening, I need to do some serious study and art, and I'm running out of time.
Anyways, yesterday, I got my Ipod yay, this is the first I have ever owned and its Black and the 120gb one ^_^ . Its so pretty, I love it. :)
This was also the first year ever that I didn't get any clothes. I'm surprised and little disappointed I love getting clothes. Oh well. I'm super happy with everything I got.
I'm actually kind of bored right now, my ipod is charging, and I need to tidy my room but I really don't want to. I don't know what to do with myself. I'm considering going to watch Doomsday. The lovely happy person that I am. I don't want to study and I just feel exhausted so I'm not arsed doing anything.

Christmas Eve
YAY!!!
Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE Christmas. Its my favorite holiday and it would be better if it snowed. But as I live in rainy old Ireland, we know that that is not going to happen.
This year is the first year in hmm 3 years maybe? That I haven't had to work. I'm so excited that I don't have to work. I woke up about an hour ago, and I'm now just relaxing. I need to make mince pies for mom and I need to shower.
I love how I just told everyone that¬_¬ Well it doesn't matter, everyone being the one person that reads this (<3)
I don't feel exactly Christmasy yet. I think once I'm clean and tidied and everything I'll feel better and I can get some studying done. And I'm going to mass this evening just to keep the peace.
Oh wow that turkey smells good. I love how our family has the meal for tomorrow cooked today, so all they have to do is heat it up. <3
What's our Christmas Eve meal? Chili ^_^ It doesn't get any better.
Anyway, I'm going to go get some things done. Oh and I'm in so much pain right now. I fell asleep on Sean's (My brother) uncomfortable ass bed and now I'm sore all over. ¬_¬ Stupid shit bed. It had NOTHING to do with the fact that I fell on the floor. -_-

Only 2 left now
As of 12pm today Monday 22nd of December I have officially finished my second semester of 6th year.
Woooo.
Unfortunately, its all shit from here. I have my Pres in February and my Orals in April and then my actual Leaving Cert in June. Ick >_<
But, I'm not going to dwell on my mountain load of work, my portfolio that needs to be finished or even the homework that needs to get done.
No I'm focusing on my most favorite holiday.
CHRISTMAS:)
Only 3 days now and I'm super excited. I have all my presents bought and done. I have my staff Christmas party this evening too. I don't think I'm going to drink as I want to drive home and what not. =] We'll see.
I love Christmas and I think this is the first Christmas Eve I haven't worked in maybe 3 years. And the first I've spent at home in maybe 4 or 5?
Unfortunately, because my brother is now an non believer, well he has been for a while but I haven't been home, its just not the same.
I really need to get things done before I go out this evening, I need to shower and all that jazz, and see what I'm going to wear too. Gah. I should get a move on.

Best. Present. Ever.... Seriously
I may have posted this before, but a few weeks ago Denise sent me my Christmas present.
She got me so much and its all soooo cool.
Now I got 2 boxes, one was with books and a slinky and books from Danielle too, and what not, and 2nd has like 4 different kinds of loose leaf tea, cinnamon and caramel sticks (Put in tea instead of sugar) and some of these sachets of Bellagio cocoa and mocha.
On Tuesday I had one of the Caramel Mocha ones and I was actually in heaven. It was soo good I could have died and been in heaven.
Today was no different I had the Peppermint Cocoa and my god was it good. It was just amazing. Really made my day better. Its been cold dark and wet here today and I kind of drifted through the day in a daze. But that Cocoa was so good. mmmmmm ^_^
Ok. Thats all I wanted to say. :)

Quick update
Ok, quick update.
Weekend was awesome, Nan and Granddad came over, it was like Christmas.
Shelly got her stitches out seems to be healing well.
My brother Adam has to get surgery this week I think.
Went Ice Skating on Monday, got lost in Dundalk. I fucking hate that place NOTHING is sign posted.
Somehow trying to get back towards Blaney is bloody hard when you have a sign post that BOTH directions at a Y-Junction say CASTLEBLANEY. >_< Their town planner is a sadistic bastard.
I have to do some SERIOUS art now and get my ass into gear>_<
No idea whats happening this weekend, I'm all muddled and confused. I have to study Organic Chemistry AGAIN as I have a test on Monday and I cannot fail...this time around ¬_¬ Yes, everyone failed in the last one, it was dreadful.
Ok that's all, I need to locate my Christmas tree and decorations and find my notebook too.

This week is getting worse and worse all the time.
I just found out that my Nan who we call Big Nan is sick. She hasn't got out of Bed since Sunday and it's really not looking good.
As a result my one granddad isn't coming over.
Big Nan is my great nan and shes 94 I think.
I really hope she gets better.
I have had soe great times with her. Like she never leaves her room until her makeup is done, and she always keeps newspaper clippings of things I'd like. She has never forgotten my birthday and and she always has fantastic stories to tell.
I love my Big Nan, or more recently Nana Boyd

Shit Luck
Now we all knew my luck was awful but this week its worse.
After crashing my car and numerous other amounts of bad luck I thought it was finally picking up for me what with mom saying yesterday I could take most of today off to come home and tidy for her.
The first thing was Sean. He pulled a sickie and got away with it. He is not sick at all (I know this because he has a distinct fake sick voice, and he was using it. That and he was playing xbox and yelling at the TV).
Anyway, that annoyed me as I like to blast music when I clean the house and sing and dance around.
So I get to school. Thats grand and then I get back home again about half 10 or so.
Cleaned the house from top to bottom and sorted, dusted, hoovered, cleaned, washed, etc etc. I have never been so exhausted. I'm ready to drop. I also made dinner for this evening and cleaned out my car.
Anyways, as I am taking a long overdue break about half 5, I sat down, for maybe about 2 minutes, and Sean comes bursting in the door. Yelling something about the fridge and explosion.
I ran into the kitchen and sure enough, a HUGE puddle of water had accumulated on the kitchen floor, covering mst of the floor. I pulled the fridge out and saw that the water pump for the ice machine doo-dad on the fridge had punctured and was pissing water everywhere.
Me being the fast thinking person that I am got towels and called mom. heheheh. Mom told me to turn the water off, which I did. That stopped the water from going everywhere and I mopped up as best I could.
Dad has to get a new filter tomorrow, but thank god that the fridge isn't broken, we cannot afford a new one>_<
And that was eventful day. How can something so seemingly easy and not dangerous turn into a fucking calamity around me?
I'm a jinx. -_-
If I get called Calamity Jade I swear I will hunt you down and share my bad luck with you^_^

After crashing my car and numerous other amounts of bad luck I thought it was finally picking up for me what with mom saying yesterday I could take most of today off to come home and tidy for her.
The first thing was Sean. He pulled a sickie and got away with it. He is not sick at all (I know this because he has a distinct fake sick voice, and he was using it. That and he was playing xbox and yelling at the TV).
Anyway, that annoyed me as I like to blast music when I clean the house and sing and dance around.

All Shook Up
Today has to have been the worst day.
It started off all well and good. And because its a Monday I usually go to the library so I have to take the car. Mom said that it was really icy out and to be careful. That was grand, I literally did not go over 20MPH. I was really slow, and i didn't use the break. Now right up the road from where I live there's a nasty corner on a hill, I was going maybe 10MPH and I hit the corner the wrong way coming into it and got caught on the ice which sent me flying across from one side of the road to the other. Its dangerous to use your breaks so I didn't touch them. Right in front of me however was a school bus. Had I of gone into the back of it, I wouldn't be writing this. Anywho, so i slammed the breaks on and went flying sideways into the bank, the impact being on my side.
Luckily nothing was dented scratched or whatever.
Sean however was yelling at me and making me feel worse. For those of you who don;t know Sean is my 14 year old brother ¬_¬
Now i was pretty shaken up and did not appreciate being yelled at by someone who doesn't have their license.
I got into school no bother.
At lunch time I found out that Shelly had to go to hospital and got 6 stitches in her had because she slit her hand on a broken glass. She had 2 locals and a tetnas and lost alot of blood. And on top of that she has major exams next week as this is her final year in college and she can't write. She has to get the dressing changed on Wednesday and she may have to have that piece of skin removed because of the way it was cut.
Adam also dropped his phone and smashed it to pieces. AND Whats worse, I got the library and they didn't have my book >_<
At least no one was seriously injured, its just been a REALLY shitty day. My head hasn't been in anything at all. My hands are still shaking.
