Ahhh its nearly the New Year, and I figured, like last year I would do the Highs and Lows of the year.
2008 has brought with it both good and bad points. All in All it was an alright year, and its going to take one hell of a year to top it.
Lets start with the lows so that we can be happy at the end ^_^
Lows:
January:
Well as many of you may know, thats when my hearing started to turn shit and I was refusing to go to the doctors.
Also the time of the great bad hair scandal:P
February:
(January/February)Denise was admitted to hospital, that was a really scary time:( <3 So glad you're better now though D.
I got a nasty ear infection and seriously infected mastoid gland, that sucked.
Very many dental appointments as I had to have my front tooth cemented into place as they fucked me over on dental work a few years ago >_<
And I missed Tegan and Sara in Dublin cause of my ear:(
May:
I had to get stitches in my arm after that whole scare >_< That sucked, and trying to write for exams was awful.
Getting annoyed with builders for not turning up to do the bathroom.
June:
Broke one of the wing mirrors on my car because of an asshole lorry driver not moving over>_<
Broke my sunglasses :( Rip sunglasses.
Saturday 12th of July 2008, Brian McGonnell died after a nasty battle with cancer. Shelly is like a member of our family and it was awful to see the family go through it <3
My dad chipped a bone in his wrist and lost a chunk of his finger.
and some areshole vandalized my car by breaking both the wing mirrors off>_< Fuckers.
October:
I dislocated my jaw >_<
Really shitty Halloween as everyone canceled on me.
November:
My hate for the Leaving Cert English Course bubbled over.
People canceled on me again ¬_¬
Got messed around by an arse who I'm truly glad to be rid of.
December:
I crashed the car. That was possibly one of the scariest moments of my life. I was going really slow, and I caught the corner wrong and was sent into a skid. I don't think I've ever been so scared.
The fridge pump broke and flooded the kitchen.
My Big Nan got really sick.
My Nan got really sick and still is, I'm really worried :( Shes lost alot of weight and was describing symptoms of a heart attack, I really hope shes getting better.
I got lost in Dundalk for 3 hours and got so annoyed I was nearly crying.
I was completely uninspired for ages. And not motivated in the slightest.
I have a cold.
On top of that we have various amounts of Dental appointments, sickness, bad luck, clumsiness, falling down stairs, bruises, cuts, and god knows what else.
Ok now we're past the depressing stuff time to get to the Happy things:).
Highs:
January:
New start. New Year.
Shellys 21st. Was an amazing night. I bought my first ever dress and it was brilliant fun:)
I bought books. Lots of books.
February:
Ahh the ash Wednesday mass, is that the one where I kept whispering Penis to Shaunna? I can't remember.
Arts Day at school which I ran an organized independently was a complete success :)
March:
Got my hands on Ghost Whisperer Season 1. AMAZING. WATCH IT!
Went to Venice, Villach, Salzburgh and Munich. It was amazing. One of the best holidays I've ever been on.
April:
We Are Scientists gig. Was fucking AMAZING! Yeah are fantastic live and have the most adorable voices.
Oh and I passed my driving test :)
May:
Went to see Des Bishop play in Blaney and we met him Backstage, that was amazing.
Got our bathroom done up too and we now have a jacuzzi bath;)
Went to see Sex and the City with Jules and Niamh and Shelly and Pamela.
I got free shoes.
June:
I finally got my stitches out.
Went To Italy with my parents 2 brothers and my brothers girlfriend Shelly. That was a brilliant holiday, we had an apartment and we hung out, went swimming and everything, was amazing. I also got my Vans which I had been looking for for months.
Saw Doomsday.
Claire helped me with my artwork and let me use her awesome camera:)
July:
My birthday. The saturday was absolutely the best night ever. I got pretty drunk along with Jules, Ciara Larry, Cake and Donna. And of course Adam and Shelly. It was amazing, aghhh the drunken stories and the Jell-o shots:)
The tuesday of my actual birthday was soooo amazingly funny too. I took Jules with me and we went to my staff Shin-dig. It was brilliant. I got drunk, fell off a wall, and apparently the DJ grabbed my ass, I don't remember that at all hahaha. I also ended up getting um 30 kisses too hahaha. Good times.
Went to see the Dark Knight with Pat. That was a fantastic film. Loved it.
Went to see Clone Wars with Pat in Dublin :) (I think it was July, maybe August?)
August:
I got yet more books.
I went to England.
I went to see Muse in Marley Park. That was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. If you have to see one band live its them. For Sure.
I got My Birthday Present from Denise. Terrible Towel is brilliant.
Tim-LC came over for a few days and we hung out. It was fun. ^_^
James's Debs. Was a brilliant night and I walked down the road in the middle of the night with no shoes on..that was not brilliant.
September:
I met Noel Fielding from the Mighty Boosh ^_^
I got free Oreos. I love how I remember food related things.
Also Shaunnas 17th at Mr Ks that was a fun night.
October:
Watched some creepy Films with Denise.
November:
Met Des Bishop again:)
Went to IADT open day and I love that college.
Went to Top Gear WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Wow, just Wow. I love Richard Hammond <3
I started the Stephanie Plum series ^_^ Thank you Denise <3
December:
Denise's Christmas present came. BEST.PRESENT.EVER! I don't care D, It really was:P <3
I got an iPod for Christmas.
I wasn't working Christmas Eve.
I got a radio for my car.
Had one of the Best weeks of my life.
Along with all that there is of course numerous other things, I got art done, I read alot, I had some really good nights out and some hilarious conversations with Denise in the early hours of the morning.
So as 2008 draws to a close, its pretty safe to say it's been a very good year. some highs and lows, filled with laughter, sadness and who knows what else.
I have met some great people this year,Amy<3, Peter <3, Tim-LC, Donna, Danielle, Niamh, and anyone who I've forgotten.
09 will see me hopefully getting into IADT and moving to Dublin and Denise coming over in June <3 and my Debs. Who knows what else.
And with that I think I shall leave it. HAPPY NEW YEAR<3 I hope its a great one.

Ahh Tuesdays
Today I did actually get things done :) I'm so pleased with myself ^_^
I was then going to go into town and get some art supplies as I really need a new pen as my black has run out >_<
So New Years, after talking to a few people it seems alot are staying in, so I think I might too. Adam and Shell are coming over, but I think I might get drunk with D if she's up for it:)
Anywho I got drafted into work today ¬_¬ 5:30-10. It was alright. I LOVE Sinjita, shes soooo cool she brought sweets <3. And Mark is so cute ^_^
I'm sorry I missed people earlier though, so typical of my luck >_< <3
Hopefully I will get into town sometime this week in order to get my art things:)And Oh that reminds me, I have an appointment tomorrow to go try on Debs dresses :) I know its like 8months away but Shelly saw this really nice dress and thinks it will suit me so hopefully it will:)
No Idea who I'll take to the Debs yet, James still thinks I owe him one as he took me¬_¬ We'll see James.. we'll see.

woo update
Today I got up at *mutters*onethirtypm*Mutters* and had coffee and sat in my pjs for ages.
I got some art done as well which I was pretty happy with. I still have alot to do, but I mean I'm getting things done.
I have planned what I'm going to draw in every panel, I just have to draw it. :)
I then decided that I needed leaves for my portfolio, so I went on a adventure. It was bloody freezing. >_<
I made Denise a video though, which I have yet to upload as youtube was being a mong. I'll do it this evening, maybe on Veoh?
However I did upload one for Amy, so, hopefully, I didn't look like a complete idiot. And ramble.
I promise both of you I'm going to make better ones ^_^
I have currently got artwork ALL over my floor too.
Oh and the genius that I am, when I was making D's video I slipped right on my ass on the ice. The poor guy walking on the other side of the road didn't know what to do. Thank god that I didn't catch it on video, or I would have never lived it down. ¬_¬
I think for this week, I need to get my phone unlocked so I can get an Orange sim to work in it. I also need to finish this story board, and I promised Alibhe we'd go out for Chinese and then go out after so she could see what I'm like drunk. That should be fun. Alibhe is hilariously funny. <3
New Years Eve, atm I'm not sure I have anything planned, I might go out with Claire to McKennas as her friend from Kildare is down, and she said I should come out. So I'll see if the offer is still good. It all depends how I feel on the day, I'm not a huge fan of New Year, well, I don't mind it, but the past few years its been quiet, so I think I will go out this year. I'm going to attempt to not get too drunk and do yoga in the middle of McKennas or run around with a saucepan on my head....... wow. Um, yeah.... ^_^

Hurrah, Dude, I found my muse.
Like i said before this side of Christmas is kind of depressing.
But since yesterday I have actually done a little art. Tomorrow I need to SERIOUSLY get one of the storyboards done.
I also want to seriously thank my muse, for not only inspiring me, but for naming the character, thank you so so so much, let me know what I can do to thank you^_^
I have done no studying so far ¬_¬ I need to get to that. And I will but 12 chapters of Chemistry and 11 of Biology does not sound appealing.
I'm considering doing some tomorrow though. I'm also considering getting an Orange sim, so that I can talk to people in England for cheaper, if I can find my old phone that was unblocked then I will:)
I had one of the best nights sleep last night, I haven't slept that well in months. I have no idea why I slept so well. hehehe.

Ohh last night I watched St Elmos Fire. Rob Lowe is an incredibly good actor. Hes brilliant in Waynes World too.

Desperately seeking muse
The past week or so I haven't been inspired to draw or come up with ideas or anything for my portfolio.
I sit down, get an idea then realize its crap. I need to be inspired.
Today was strange though. I just started drawing, and coming up with ideas that aren't too bad.
Whatever happened its good. And I hope it sticks around, I need to get this portfolio done in like a couple of weeks :(

Came and gone :(
So Christmas has come and gone and I really do not like this side of christmas. Its depressing and it has finally hit me how much shit I have to do. Its really frightening, I need to do some serious study and art, and I'm running out of time.
Anyways, yesterday, I got my Ipod yay, this is the first I have ever owned and its Black and the 120gb one ^_^ . Its so pretty, I love it. :)
This was also the first year ever that I didn't get any clothes. I'm surprised and little disappointed I love getting clothes. Oh well. I'm super happy with everything I got.
I'm actually kind of bored right now, my ipod is charging, and I need to tidy my room but I really don't want to. I don't know what to do with myself. I'm considering going to watch Doomsday. The lovely happy person that I am. I don't want to study and I just feel exhausted so I'm not arsed doing anything.

Christmas Eve
YAY!!!
Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE Christmas. Its my favorite holiday and it would be better if it snowed. But as I live in rainy old Ireland, we know that that is not going to happen.
This year is the first year in hmm 3 years maybe? That I haven't had to work. I'm so excited that I don't have to work. I woke up about an hour ago, and I'm now just relaxing. I need to make mince pies for mom and I need to shower.
I love how I just told everyone that¬_¬ Well it doesn't matter, everyone being the one person that reads this (<3)
I don't feel exactly Christmasy yet. I think once I'm clean and tidied and everything I'll feel better and I can get some studying done. And I'm going to mass this evening just to keep the peace.
Oh wow that turkey smells good. I love how our family has the meal for tomorrow cooked today, so all they have to do is heat it up. <3
What's our Christmas Eve meal? Chili ^_^ It doesn't get any better.
Anyway, I'm going to go get some things done. Oh and I'm in so much pain right now. I fell asleep on Sean's (My brother) uncomfortable ass bed and now I'm sore all over. ¬_¬ Stupid shit bed. It had NOTHING to do with the fact that I fell on the floor. -_-
